BENJAMIN DALMENICO MCCREADY

As the world turns on its axis, one man works, the other relaxes.
Since Duchamp, Artists have denied a much greater system and unwittingly alienated themselves from the rest of society through the gradual erosion of inherent value.
I see no future in subjective value and aim to create wearable, culturally significant artworks. With new technologies, rare minerals and metals, and traditional crafting techniques It results in something ancient but futuristic.
My design style is informed by my experiences exploring other cultures and their traditional decorative styles, combining them with modern archetypes.
